SUMMARY:Healthy Steps for Older Adults - Dubuque
DESCRIPTION:Healthy Steps for Older Adults (HSOA) is an evidence-based fall
  risk screening and education class for adults aged 50 and over. This prog
 ram consists of two 2-hour workshops focused on fall prevention\, covering
  topics such as proper footwear\, safety at home\, good nutrition for bone
  health\, and the importance of exercise. Participants will also learn at-
 home exercises to improve strength and balance.\n\nBy participating in the
  Healthy Steps for Older Adults program\, you can equip yourself with the 
 knowledge and skills to lead a full and active life free from the fear of 
 falling. The classes are scheduled for Monday\, September 9\, and Thursday
 \, September 12\, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at The Woodlands\, 3460 Starlite
  Drive\, Dubuque\, IA 52003. Lunch will be provided\, and each participant
  will receive a comprehensive program handbook filled with valuable inform
 ation. The classes are available with a suggested contribution of $25. Ple
