SUMMARY:Healthy Steps for Older Adults - NEI3A Dubuque Regional Office
DESCRIPTION:HSOA is an evidence-based fall risk screening and education cla
 ss for adults aged 50 and over focusing on fall prevention\, covering topi
 cs such as proper footwear\, safety at home\, good nutrition for bone heal
 th\, and the importance of exercise. Participants will also learn at-home 
 exercises to improve strength and balance.\n\nBy participating in the Heal
 thy Steps for Older Adults program\, you can equip yourself with the knowl
 edge and skills to lead a full and active life\, free from the fear of fal
 ling. The class is scheduled for Thursday\, May 1 and May 8\, from 9:30 a.
 m. to 2:30 p.m. at NEI3A Dubuque Regional Office\, 2728 Asbury Road #430\,
  Fountain Park Springs Building\, Dubuque\, IA 52001. You only need to reg
 ister for one class. Lunch will be provided\, and each participant will re
 ceive a comprehensive program handbook filled with valuable information. T
 he classes are available with a suggested voluntary contribution of $25. S
 cholarships are available for those who request financial assistance. To s
