What to expect from a DSS Consultation:
Our consultations are tailored to meet each person where they are. During your session, a trained Dementia Service Specialist will:
- Assess the current situation, including symptoms and stage of dementia.
- Help develop a clear care plan
- Provide vital education on dementia progression, home safety, and communication tips.
- Offer tools and strategies to support caregivers.
- Connect families to local resources such as support groups.
- Facilitate a unique dementia simulation experience to help caregivers better understand dementia.
Every consultation ends with a personalized roadmap and referrals to trusted services, ensuring you’re not just informed, but also equipped for what comes next.
