November is National Family Caregiver Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the millions of family members, friends, and neighbors who care for and support loved ones every day. More than 53 million Americans serve as unpaid caregivers, helping older adults and others remain safely in their homes and communities. While caregiving is an act of love, it can also be physically, emotionally, and financially challenging.
That’s why NEI3A is proud to partner with the Stonehill Caregiver Resource Center and Shalom Spirituality Center to promote the Caregiver Wellness Retreat on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Shalom Spirituality Center in Dubuque.
This FREE retreat helps caregivers relax, recharge, and connect with others who understand the caregiving journey.
Highlights include:
• Keynote speaker Martin J. Schreiber, co-author of My Two Elaines
• Complimentary copy of My Two Elaines for the first 40 registrants
• Wellness sessions including Tai Chi, sound healing, and massage/reflexology
• Caregiver resources and vendor fair
