Medicaid Planning for Nursing Home or Long-Term Care

Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging (NEI3A) will host a free educational program, “Medicaid Planning for Nursing Home or Long-Term Care,” on Friday, November 7, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Decorah Public Library meeting room (lower level), 202 Winnebago Street, Decorah.
The session will be presented by Scott Hartsook, retired managing attorney with Iowa Legal Aid. Hartsook will share valuable information about Medicaid planning, eligibility requirements, and strategies for protecting assets when facing nursing home or long-term care needs.
This event is free and open to the public. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how Medicaid may help with the cost of long-term care.
