Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is a gentle exercise option that reduces the risk of falling by improving strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. This low-impact, relaxing form of exercise, which focuses on the mental and spiritual aspects of Chinese martial arts integrated into movement, is ideal for older individuals. Join us for classes to begin on June 3 in Maquoketa. Classes will be held at the Jackson County Senior Center (1000 E. Quarry, Maquoketa, IA 52060) each Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. from June 3 through August 1.
This class is offered with a $4.00 suggested contribution per class for those aged 60 and over. Participants under age 60 will be charged $4.00. Space is limited, and registration is required.
