Healthy Steps for Older Adults – Denver

Healthy Steps for Older Adults is an evidence-based fall risk screening and education class for adults aged 50 and over focusing on fall prevention, covering topics such as proper footwear, safety at home, good nutrition for bone health, and the importance of exercise. Participants will also learn at-home exercises to improve strength and balance.
By participating in the Healthy Steps for Older Adults program, you can equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to lead a full and active life, free from the fear of falling. The class is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Denver Public Library located at 100 Washington Street in Denver. Lunch will be provided, and each participant will receive a comprehensive program handbook filled with valuable information. The classes are available with a suggested voluntary contribution of $25.
